General Purpose Motors

U.S. MOTORS® brand general purpose, three phase motors are designed for general industrial equipment including fans, blowers, compressors, pumps, material handling and direct connected equipment. These motors exceed industry service and quality standards. U.S. MOTORS three-phase motors include NEMA Premium®† efficient, inverter grade insulation, WORLD MOTOR® features (where noted) , a 1.15 service factor and meet other NEMA standard requirements including 40°C ambient conditions, Class F insulation, NEMA Design B, and are usable up to 3,300 feet above sea level.

Stocked general purpose motors are available from 1 - 500 HP in 3600/1800/1200 and 900 RPM. General purpose motors are offered in NEMA Premium efficient basic product types UTE, CTE, DE, RE and others to meet federally legislated efficiency levels. All copper windings and low-loss stator laminations provide maximum efficiency.
